Newcomers Lunch!

Sunday, July 11, at 12:30 PM
This is a great opportunity to enjoy lunch with pastors, staff and other newcomers. This will also provide time to hear more about MCC, ask questions and learn more about next steps for you and your family!

“MercyWorks Connection” is a new ministry of care and compassion at MCC! It is a networking place where the gifts and abilities of people can be linked with the needs of others. Stop by the MercyWorks table in the Lobby for more information and to see how you can become involved.

Volunteers Needed for The Red Cross Blood Drive
Thursday, July 1, Noon to 6:00 PM

Please contact Cindy Watson at 763-421-0644 if you are available to volunteer your time or bake cookies for the blood drive. Walk-ins are accepted to donate blood, or you may call the Red Cross to schedule an appointment at 1-800-GIVE-LIFE (1-800-448-3543).

KARS Volunteers Needed Now!

MCC’s ministry for children with special needs is Kids Are Really Special (KARS). With increased interest, volunteers are needed to accompany & aid special needs children-specifically now with preschool children, or as needed with elementary age, during the 8:30 or 11:00 AM worship service or Sunday school. Parents will be encouraged to fill out a card at the Welcome Center that gives basic information; child management techniques & what the child is suppose to be learning. This information card will be given to the volunteer for that day & then filed for future use. Volunteers need to be older teens/adults with a love for children. Previous experience with special needs children would be beneficial. Contact Sandra J. if you would like to volunteer on a rotating basis at the office or sandra.johnson@meadowcreekchurch.org

Puppet Ministry

Tod Erickson has started a Meadow Creek puppet ministry for all interested adults, youth and children. If you would like to be involved and need details, please contact Tod at 763-323-8315, tserickson@msn.com or Sandra Johnson.

Rent - A - Worker

Spring has arrived and it's time to get outside and do all those projects you have been waiting to get to! Think about hiring some extra helpers and support summer missions as well. Pick up a brochure in the church lobby and give a worker a call. They can help you in many ways: arranging silk flowers, digging up your yard, babysit your child or your dog, even paint, and even help with a graduation open house! Check it out!

Opportunities to Serve

We are looking for volunteers for Sunday mornings with our coffee ministry, as well as the unlocking and locking of building doors. The coffee ministry would include set-up and clean-up. You could choose to serve one or two Sundays a month. This would be a great way for a family to serve together. We are also looking for someone who would be willing to unlock and lock building doors on Sunday morning. If you are interested in either ministry opportunity, please contact the church office ASAP for details.

Operation Uplift

Let's lift up our service men and women through prayer and letters. For mailing addresses and information, see the display near the church Welcome Center.

If you are a part of Meadow Creek Church and have a family member or loved one serving in the US military, please contact Marcy Berens at marceleberens@comcast.net with any updates.

Pray for our Soldier of the Month:
Grant Fritz - US Army

Pray for the safety of our military overseas:
Steven Fowlkes — Afghanistan
Josh Fritz — Iraq
Joel Watson — Kuwait
