Kids

Welcome to KID's ministry at Meadow Creek

We are a discipleship-focused ministry, which simply means our goal is to instill a love and passion for God and his teaching as your child sees us setting the example. We know our time with your children is limited compared to the daily impact you have as parent, grandparent or guardian. Our hope is to work with you you by providing a genuine, biblical framework of God’s truth so your children might continue throughout the week under your own nurturing discipleship and care! Come check out KidsCreek this Sunday!

Kidscreek Nursery: Birth-3

From 9 AM until the end of the Worship Service, our Nursery is open to all children from infant to age 4. We provide a creative, kid-friendly environment, partnering with teachers (and parents) to create a weekly experience filled with singing, Bible stories, and lesson-related activities. KidsCreek Nursery is simply a free babysitting service, but we intentionally use the time we have to teach them about God’s Word and His love for each one of them.

kidscreek pre-k: age 4-k

At 9 AM, we welcome all children age 4 through Kindergarten to attend KidsCreek Sunday School in Room A117 (the Legacy Christian Academy Preschool Room). Our teachers incorporate Bible stories, songs and games to captivate and challenge your child to grow in their relationship with Jesus.

You may leave your child with us from 9am through the end of the worship service and pick-up your child in the lobby after the service. Safety is very important to us so you will need a tag to pick up your child following the service.

KidsCreek elementary: Grades 1-5

At 9 AM all children grades 1-5 will meet in room A129 for Sunday School. A few minutes will be spent together, recapping the previous lessons as we tie together God’s beautiful and intricate story of His love and redemptive plan for our lives. The grade levels will then split into separate classrooms nearby, and will dismiss at 10 AM. Please coordinate ahead of time with your children on where you would like to meet to attend the family worship service following Sunday School at 10:15am.

AWANA stands for “Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed” and comes from 2 Timothy 2:15. This ministry is geared towards ages 3 (by September 1) to grade 6. We work with parents to develop spiritually strong children who faithfully follow Jesus Christ. This is accomplished through Scripture memory, lessons, games, and small groups. Children are divided into age-appropriate groups to allow for peer interaction and discipleship from leaders.

Child Dedication

It is our tradition at Meadow Creek Church to offer Child Dedication services for the children of our church family and our surrounding community.  This is a special time of public ceremony and personal commitment when the parents promise to raise their child in a way that honors the Lord.
